A few boxes containing new photo equipment arrived at my doorstep quite recently. Backdrop support rigs, background paper in different colors and a chunk of awesomeness. Overwhelming.

The content of the equipment cases smelled like freedom. A very own mobile studio is now somewhat complete.

As of today (in a couple of hours) I’m setting out to do what 5 million people do every year – I’m visiting the Island of Tenerife for the next 8 days.

I’m bringin the GoPro machine as well as the 5D Mark Tage to grab some sunny tropical shots and footage, whaddayaknow, Tage goes south. I’ll do my best to update my site with memories, stories and shots from the Island during my stay, but who knows – I might end up livin’ in an update-free zone with tons of cockroaches and cold winds. Let’s see alright.

Cockroach or no cockroach, I believe I might enjoy this trip to the far south.

// Tage – TeneTage

This afternoon was spent at casa the Tage capturing the missing shots for our upcoming music video with Mangoo to their song called Deathmint.

Quick explanation needed I feel. Well, we shot the entire video a few weeks ago during a 2-day stay i Suomen Turku, we shot everything except a few ghost shots alright. And since the video is all about the Fuzzbusters - it’s gonna be ghosts, 80′s and killer special FX yes..? Yes oh yes. Ghostbusters n’ shit.

So, what we did today was to use our very own “do it yourself” green screen to grab the last frames for the video, the frames that need heavy FX artillery, the ones that needed a green screen ok.

Well oh well, everything went according to plan, kinda, and now our special FX wizard Jocke Levälampi is in for weeks of tracking, ghosting and a bag of gianormous fun! Wish him luck.

So, the premiere for this video is gonna be held in Suomen Turku on the 29th of October during the Individual Ink Halloween festival – so be sure to get your ass over there. Cause hey, you don’t wanna miss the opportunity to see this video at the premiere!

// Tage – Green Tage

Well, today the core of Eva Lingon Ltd. Oy Ab went to shoot a short corporate commercial spot to Långvik just outside Kyrsälä. The thing is being put together for Torfinn Slåen at Tuloskunnossa with some nice production help from Johanna Stenback at Jokowski.

The flick is to be released on the Tuloskunnossa web site in a few weeks, and I believe we nailed the shoot with great results – our day with Torfinn felt good and I suspect we captured every frame we need for the upcoming editing days..

So, here you go, a couple of “making of” frames from our stay at Långvik.

A quick reminder folks. This upcoming weekend the “Musik & Talang 2011″ showdown/workshop/exhibition/gig-paradise thing is going down in the city of Wasa. You’ll see performance from a variety of top notch artists as well as be able to attend workshops and different lectures on a heap of subjects straight outta the “Music” & “Talent” industry!

Together with Lasse Norrgård from MediaCity the Tage is to be a “speaker/presenter” on Saturday at 09.30PM. During one hour at Hotel Central in the cocktail lounge we will speak on the subject “music video production”.

So, yesterday we got back from our small IBC 2011 convention journey to Amsterdam. It was a great 4 day ride in the city of sin. Together with Matias Nystedt and Rasmus Tåg we experienced loads of new media technology, some fine meals and a bag of Amstel bottles.

I bet I’ll be a lucky visitor next year as well – for now I’ll leave you with a few shots from our trek in central Europe.

Since I snooped around as the festival photographer at both Popkalaset 2011 in Ekenäs and at The Rocklandia festival in Wasa I figured I’d make a combo out of the Vink shots since they performed at both of the festivities. Swell one!

A week ago, or so, the Rocklandia festival was held in Wasa where I snooped around as the official festival shooter.

A few days ago I posted a heap of preview shots from the festival, and as time goes by I’ll upload more n more rock shots from the festival as I get them corrected, schmorrected and lolerrected. The festival was visited by a lot of great bands, so, expect a few shots during the upcoming weeks.
