Well today I bought myself a brand new SanDisk CF 16GB memory card (30 mb/s), nothing particularly funny about that, but the special part is this, when I picked up the card in the store the price tag said 85,00 euros. What the crap, that’s quite expensive is it not?

So I picked up my phone, faster than the wind, and checked out different web stores on the almighty fine interweb and found out that the guys in the store where tryin’ to fool me, probably had a laugh, however, not so fast Splinter. I walked up to the counter, pulled out my very best Clint Eastwood smile and said (with my very worst Texas voice) “I’m not paying 85,00 euros for this one eh, I found it for 59,00 euros on the interweb”.

The man behind the counter responded,  “Ok, I can sell it to you for 59,00 euros”.

So, was it my Clint Eastwoodian smile or was the dude coked up on crystal meth?

And that’s not all folks, as drove home to take this blog-picture my camera said “No Card”. Now that’s irony alright. Tryin’ to portray a card with an empty camera.. It’s like riding a bicycle without a road?

So, everyone off to Gigantti Megastore in Tammisto and start telling those guys how much YOU wanna spend on their products, cause hey, it seems to work.

Today me and my stuff-buddy (remarkable word) The Rasmus Tåg did an interview with Fredrik Furu for his upcomin’ homepage. It went great and the interview is awesome, I hope. We filmed it with my 5D Mark Tage and oh my gosh, the picture quality of the FullHD is just awesome, Rasmus ran the files through a color correction in After Affects and it really looked great. You’ll be able to see the results at Fredrik Furu’s homepage perhaps some time next week.

But this is isn’t the main reason for my blog shot this evening.. Noo, way cooler stuff, yes.. So tell us (I seem to hear a choir of eager soulfuckers sing).. Well ok, I’ll tell you, if you quit whining about it. Allright?

So the big newsreel is that the Tage today bought a new Memory Card for his camera, you heard right, a memory card. Haha. It is a SanDisk Compact Flash Extreme IV 8GB , so that’s nice, but it fucking cost me 96 euros. And I bought it so I easily could do the Fredrik Furu-thing. Cause some random guy told me you have to have it for great results with FullHD, and I believed him, cause I believe in commercials and random guys.

But how ironic is that, I tell you the news about Furu and lark about that it wasn’t big news, and then you fuckers whine about a real news piece and I tell you about some Compact Flash card, and then you ask me, oh my good I’ve gone cross-eyed. (You can’t ask me anything while I’m writing?) I figure you want to see my new memory card? Well, you don’t have a choice stupid.
