Well a few months ago we shot a commercial spot for Kristinestad with Rasmus Tåg for the international project called CittaSlow.

CittaSlow is a movement that started in Italy back in the 90′s, a network between smaller idyllic cities around the world so to say. The project has a series of goals and aims involving cultural diversity, protecting the environment and the quality of life in cities with a population under 50 000.

Kristinestad has been accepted to the CittaSlow group, and that’s why they asked us for a small film about the city showing you guys all of it’s fine qualities.

Check out the final spot if you please, shot entirely in the lovely town of Kristinestad.

About half of the Eva Lingon staff, ergo, Rasmus Tåg, has now returned to Helsinki to get busy with the Eva crew again, after his 2 month stay in Wasa. The dude hung out in Wasa working as an editor at Sveng.com for the Swedish TV-show “Så ska det Låta”.

The Eva boys had a long sit-down today tryin’ to put up goals, visions and aims for 2012. Hopefully this will be a good year filled with a great deal of challenges and new projects for Eva Lingon.

A premiere is close at hand!

Well, we have pretty much canned the shootings of our upcoming Swallow the Sun video to their next single “Cathedral Walls” – awesome!

The first day of shooting was spent with the STS-guys at the studio and the second day was held “way out” in the Helsinkian archipelago at Suomenlinna with some really talented performers, expect coolness – luckily we picked the stormiest day of all time to shoot outside, god. I was soaked, wet and cold when the day was over. But hey, I was and is very happy with both of our Swallow the Sun days.

I believe the finished piece will hit the web in January 2012, and not to forget, the bands fifth record “Emerald forest and the Blackbird” will be available in stores on February 1st of 2012 – keep a lookout!

After weeks of planning we will finally start shooting our next music video tomorrow. This time we are working with the melodic doom/death guys in Swallow the Sun to their first single “Cathedral walls” taken from their upcoming fifth album called “Emerald forest and the Blackbird”.

The shoot will go down during 3 days in Helsinki with the Eva Lingon team – gonna be epic, doom and lol.

The video will be directed by Tage, shot by Rasmus Tåg, gaffered by Anders Lönnfeldt, gripped, assisted and loads of other stuff by Niklas Laurin, make-up’ed by Sara Dahlback and produced by Spinefarm Records and Eva Lingon.

During the upcoming week we’ll shoot our next music video. This time we will be working with a hardcore group called Bob Malmström (Spinefarm Records). The video will be shot to their first single “Eliten” taken from their debut album “Tala svenska eller dö!” found in stores everywhere already.

This is not all my friends, we have a guest star in this thing – Mathias Lillmåns from Finntroll will be backing us up with his powerful voice of danger.

A few days ago we checked out the video location in Borgå, the lovely Kiala gård. I bet we’ll get all the shots we need at this 18th century mansion – it’s huge (pic above). The song is entirely in swedish with some very harsh and hefty messages. Punk above all!
