A bunch of days ago I got the privilege to metal frame a fantabulous show over at Nosturi in Helsinki. The Main act this evening was the Canadian rockers called The Agonist supported by the very fine Grendel.

This was my first time seeing The Agonist, and it will not be the last, this act was bloody fantastic. The fronter Alissa White-Gluz, the lady in blue, oh my God what a voice! Steer your fingers towards whatever it takes, you have to listen, see, feel and what not, you need to experience The Agonist!

Last night I went out hunting metal with my camera gear again, and this time I had the lens pointed towards two fantastic acts called Grendel and The Agonist over at Nosturi located in down town Helsinki.

I’ve now finished the editing of the Grendel shots, and here you go, the complete Grendel shot set, enjoy!

Fabulous fast night news this time. Tonight I’m off to Nosturi in Helsinki with my camera to grab some rock n’ roll shots again. And the performers, the ones in front of the lens tonight, are Grendel (FIN) and The Agonist (CAN). Gonna be one hell of a night – lookin’ forward! Wish me luck folks. The great gig was held on the second of October at Nosturi in Helsinki, the warm-up acts Amoral and Before the Dawn were also great bands. I earlier finished the Amoral pics but I still have the Before the Dawn shots to attend to. Those are for later.. It was my first time seeing Amorphis live, and let me tell ya, they were awesome! And that is not all, I only saw about 6 songs, and then I had to leave, and that bugs me to this very day. Why did I have to leave? Keep reading cockface, and since you are not probably reading at all, I can write whatever I want, I can call you a double-time wanker. So, there you go!

Since it was such a big gig I was only allowed to shoot the band during the first three songs, and after that I tried to watch to concert from the back row, but there were so many people hanging around so I couldn’t fit my small body among them. Basterds. The place was big-time jam-packed. I had to check out the band from a screen! A fucking screen. And that sucked big time, so I took mitt pick och pack and left. Jeez.

Maybe that was a small price to pay since I got to enjoy the first part of the show from e very near perspective!

I’ll upload 7 of them to the “from stage to page”-folder on this site. And in this bloggery thing I’ll post some pics with a feeling and a severe touch of hell. Hope you like them. My good friend R.Tåg told me that those who have taken shots of an Amorphis-show has got a certain Rock Credibility.. Have I got it now, do I have Rock cred? It sure does not feel that way, haha. I would like to have some rock cred, if you please. R.Tåg, what is rock credibilty? How does it feel? I think I just about now got it! Yes! Feels great!

The new camera is pulling through, love the full frame thingy! It took my three evenings to get the pics up and running. I got about 700 shots from the show of which about a 100 were cool, and I chose 34 of them to the editing process, and now you can view them all on my deviantart page on the following link ——->>>>

My top 4 I put in the “from stage to page” folder on this site… It’s kinda sad that all of the pics are focused on Ari Koivunen, the lead singer guy of the band, but what can you do..? I only got to shoot during the three first songs, so I lost my focus and didn’t have time to focus my lens at my best on all of the guys – maybe next time, of which I hope there will be many! I loved shooting these guys.. Great Show! Great Music! Cool Dudes! What else can you possibly need? Ladies..? Perhaps..
