New things revealed themselves upon my way of knowing stuff this day..? Is a sentence like that even allowed, is it fantastic? Is it grand? (Harsh Eminem reference intended).. Where am I going with this. Well, I’ll tell you William Tell me!

Yes, I’ve been scouting for the brand new Kent album “En plats i Solen” for some days now, and it seems like the grand shipment has been delayed everywhere in Waasa. So I got really pissed and went to J-City to look for the record, and I found it! I fucking found it..

Well, I had some other stuff to attend in the northern parts of Ostrobothnia this afternoon also, so it’s not like I drove 5000 km’s just to get the CD.. But anyway, The “CD Dreams” record store in J-City is awesome!

I went through the record about 4 times today, and it went exactly like I predicted.. Went? What.. Can a listening go? Go – went – Kent? Jesus Christ already. The point that this writer is tryin’ to reach is that the new record from Kent is just awesome! It has to be my best 20 euros spent since I bought their last record.. Aside from all the awesome tracks on this disc I’ve grown very fond of the song “Passagerare”! (A city in Scotland).

Do not expect a deep review on the record later.

The sad thing about this record is that there is no special edition of it on the market yet, nor are there any pictures in the booklet – none, nada <insert your favorite Hans Zimmer score here>. And that’s why sheep never fall asleep. Moving on? SORRY, FORGOT THE CAPS LOCK.

Right, perhaps I need to explain something. Bingolotto is a Swedish lottery tv-show that’s been going on for ages on the telly. But hey, that’s not the important part, what excites me is the question why anyone would wanna record it on a VHS cassette and store it for like 10 years? That’s very much like saving your grandma’s farts in a small can with a yellow lid , in case it comes in handy? What? Who would wanna watch an old lottery show.. For strategic “how to win money” purposes? I can’t get this shit together..

Maybe it was a “thing” back in 2003.. “So, Peter, did you catch the lottery last night.. No, my wife recorded it.. Ah, great, maybe I’ll come by your condo tonight and try to win stuff again.. You’re most welcome, it’s 2003, you know.. Is your wife tall? What? Peter.”

Anyway. That’s pretty much it… And my beloved team Portugal left the cup today. Big hairy schaisse!

How can it be? I have totally missed this thing. A few days ago I heard the new Kent single “Gamla Ullevi” on the radio and I was totally blown away. I had no idea that this shit was for real, I thought it was some sort of a charity song to help the native Americans get their shit together, but no, I was way off!

I mean, these guys released a full lenghter only a few months ago, and now they are releasing another one? If you have any input on this matter – please let me know! Kent are releasing a new album called “En plats i Solen” (a place in the sun)!

Kent are like my “husgudar”, always been! How can it be that I’ve missed this whole thing. It’s like you suddenly don’t remember your mothers name. I’m so everything right now! I can’t fucking wait. Minutes ago I didn’t know anything, and now I can’t wait! Awesomeness brilliance!

This is just too good to be true!

I haven’t done this blogging-noveling now for a few days due to a lack of interest. Had other things on my mind and other stuff to attend to, but you know how it is, sometimes you gotta try living aside the net for a change. And by living I ofcourse mean that the new Kent record came out and I had to take a few days off from everything to get my total focus to the new album called RÖD.

And let my fucking tell you, the album is just awesome, simply fucking awesome. I’ve scrolled through the songs now about 7 times, and let me hit you with the earlier fact again, the album is just awesome, just fucking awesome, have I repeated myself enough now? No? Ok. The album is fucking brilliant. Everything from lyrics to the songs to the sound to the everything, love all about it. Some fucks say that Kent isin’t the same anymore since they went all rocking electronic on our sorry asses, and they are and were wrong. Kent are still the same dudes writing the best lyrics there is and some very much kick-ass songs, only with a somewhat different ring to it. Haven’t ever heard of Kent? Click the link!

And this I might also mention. I’ll be staying in Vaasa for about a week from this evening forward, so if there are any fuckers in need of pics, give me a ring and we’ll do something about it! The fact that I’m in Vaasa I mostly mention for the fact that I get to put another pic in this cake so that it will look more läsvänlig. Well try to translate läsvänlig. Read-kind? Stupid.

And the last thing I’ll mention this fine sunday-night is that I minutes ago glanced through this year’s mosted watched finnish film, it’s called Rööperi. A somewhat mafia-like story of the perkele-miehet raised in Punavuori, aka Rööperi. It was a good movie. The first hour was awesome, then the movie took a sudden finnish turn and became fucking melancolic, can you believe that shit, everything we do in this country has to be depressive, marvelous! Stupid shit. But then the movie took another turn and it ended, quite allright. Cool characters, but for Rööperi 2: The sperm return of the Pornguy called Tomppa, I would add some more violence and less blood-spitting mothers who die of breast cancer. I’ll give the film 3 Halonens’ out of 5.

The swedish rock-act Kent released the tickets to their upcoming spring-tour for the new album, RÖD, the album will be avaliable the 6th of November! And not only did Kent release their tickets, noo, I got 2 of them also, front row! Yes!

I feel so happy about this, because of the fact that Kent is probably the best rock-band ever. The lyrics combined with the music does not work as good anywhere as it does with Kent. I started listening to the guys in 1997 when they released the awesome album Isola.

They have already released the new single “töntarna” which is a great track.. You should try it out on youtube!

In this new song, I especially love the phrase (…glasögonormen reflekterar ljus…), which roughly translated to english means (the 4-eyes’ reflects light, or something.. ) You were smiling at my translation you fucker, well, try translating it yourself why don’t you, bitch.

So, yes, I am going to their concert, front row, in March 2010 at Hartwall Areena, Helsinki, and it will be awesome, as always. I have seen them 3 times before and I have never been disappointed. Look out for their new album in November, I bet it’s great.. This is what it looks like —->>>
