Mark your calendars folks. Next week on the 7th of December our Bob Malmström music video to their track “Eliten” feat. Mathias Lillmåns outta Finntroll will premiere at Lepakkomies in Helsinki.

Everyone is welcome to join in alright, it’ll be a fabulous night filled with hardcore, fyrk and punk! Bob Malmström will be performing, and before the show we will premiere the new video.

Together with Anders Lönnfeldt we have been editing this thing like crazy the last couple of days, and it is finally starting to look like a video, you might even love it. Fyrk finns!

Today we shot the new Fireal music video to their song called “Breathe” co-written by Max Martin and Per Aldeheim. The track is taken from the Fireal (Warner Music Finland) debut album “The Dark Side” available here.

It’s in the open, it’s official, yes it is. The next music video that I will direct is for the epic-Hans-Zimmer-metal-heads called Brymir.

The guys have recently released their debut album called “Breathe fire to the sun” (Spinefarm Records), together with Ramedus and a bunch of other heroes we are shooting their first music video during next week.

The song is called Retribution if you wanna look into it, found everywhere, you just have to Brymir yourself on the webby!

Tonight we held our fourth production meeting with the boys and things are now starting to look awesome. Everything seems to be in order for an epic video shoot in Helsinki and Porvoo during two heavy days in the beginning of next week. And yes, I can assure you guys, this time we have something extra ordinary in store for you, but more on that later..

The video will be directed by Tage, shot by Rasmus Tåg, produced by Spinefarm Records and Eva Lingon.

So, wish us luck on this one, gonna be one hell of a production filled with loads of challenges and epic shots, I really believe the result will suit you. While you’re waiting for the video, check out Brymir on the interweb.

A few hours ago I attended their Helsinki showdown at D.O.M. This was my first time Brymiring myself, and let me announce something, it won’t be the last. Jesus Christ almighty. These guys rocked in all directions. Probably the best show I’ve seen this year. Awesome.

And then, all of a sudden the show was gone, I felt I had to keep on walking the alley of Brymir, so I got myself a Brymir t-shirt and Ramedus snapped a “fan-shot” of me and Viktor. Lovely.

It was a fine evening among great people and a fabulous attitude – thanks everyone for a successful premiere!

During the last couple of weeks/days we have been working on a brand new music video, unfortunately the secrecy around this project has been all over the place so this is my first report on the project. So, here goes chaps – out in the open.

Together with Rasmus Tåg and Anders Lönnfeldt we have all been working with the artist elite of Svenskfinland, featuring guys n’ gals such as Geir Rönning, Elin Blom, André Linman, Paradise Oskar, Fredrik Furu, Nina Lassander, Frida Andersson, Ville Pusa, Redrama and Krista Siegfrids.

Think of it as a “Band Aid / We Are The World” kinda thing, a song/video for Svenskfinland. A project for the good – it’s all good!

So, these last couple of days we spent in two different studios in Helsinki as well as in Borgå City, recording the video and and the song simultaneously. So the video will have this very making of/good times/documentary/awesome touch to it.

The song is called “Vår tid – Vårt land” and the artists go by the name of “Artister för tolerans och öppenhet”. So, here you go, a couple of shots from our days makin’ the video.

So, loads of good times in the studio, and the editing will kick off first thing tomorrow. The video will premiere on the 5th of April 2011, it’ll also be released on DVD on the 11th of April 2011.

The song “Vår tid – Vårt land” is written Patric Sarin, Niklas Rosström, Pasi Hiihtola and Lasse “Redrama” Mellberg. It is produced by Niklas Nylund and Patric Sarin. As soon as everything is finished, the song will be available for free download and the video will be up on YouTube.
