// Tage – Vår tid!

During the last couple of weeks/days we have been working on a brand new music video, unfortunately the secrecy around this project has been all over the place so this is my first report on the project. So, here goes chaps – out in the open.

Together with Rasmus Tåg and Anders Lönnfeldt we have all been working with the artist elite of Svenskfinland, featuring guys n’ gals such as Geir Rönning, Elin Blom, André Linman, Paradise Oskar, Fredrik Furu, Nina Lassander, Frida Andersson, Ville Pusa, Redrama and Krista Siegfrids.

Think of it as a “Band Aid / We Are The World” kinda thing, a song/video for Svenskfinland. A project for the good – it’s all good!

So, these last couple of days we spent in two different studios in Helsinki as well as in Borgå City, recording the video and and the song simultaneously. So the video will have this very making of/good times/documentary/awesome touch to it.

The song is called “Vår tid – Vårt land” and the artists go by the name of “Artister för tolerans och öppenhet”. So, here you go, a couple of shots from our days makin’ the video.

So, loads of good times in the studio, and the editing will kick off first thing tomorrow. The video will premiere on the 5th of April 2011, it’ll also be released on DVD on the 11th of April 2011.

The song “Vår tid – Vårt land” is written Patric Sarin, Niklas Rosström, Pasi Hiihtola and Lasse “Redrama” Mellberg. It is produced by Niklas Nylund and Patric Sarin. As soon as everything is finished, the song will be available for free download and the video will be up on YouTube.

How should I put it.. Well, simply put, the new Fredrik Furu music video “Det går Över” featuring Pauline Kamusewu and Jimmy Westerlund will premier this upcoming Friday on the 10th of September on the almighty youtube.. Finally! Written and directed by Tage, Shot and coloured by Rasmus Tåg.

…Due to several obstructions in our planning and managing around this piece it has been held back way too long. But, no matter, on Friday you will all get to see this video which was shot during the end of May and in the beginning of June for 3 whole days. I hope you’re gonna like it. The song is great and hopefully you’ll find the video amusing!

You might wonder why there are so few shots from this show, well, I have the answers babe. It was all because of a very harsh rain.. It poured elephants and monkies. The rain was ruthless. So ruthless that I took “mitt pick o pack” and drove home.. Hopefully I can still please you with these frames..

Alright, this pig over here is called van Gristelrooy cause of it’s very Dutch color. He is only some weeks old, and yet he travels around Finland with the Fredrik Furu band this summer.. He is hilarious this van Gristelrooy dude..So funny that I had to let him in to the youtube-world. Check him out in action!

This oinky bastard even has the same tattoos that are/is found in the band – he is a real groupie..! And yes, small story, the poor guy was left behind during Furu’s last gig in Kokkola, but luckily he was shipped to Wasa just in time for Furu’s gig last weekend at the Rock Perry festival. He is quite the mascot this van Gristelrooy – or “Roikku” as he is called by the ones who know him..

And hey, you wanna know the best thing about this pig – he has a tattoo in his ass that says “Taxi Sjöman”.

It has become very clear to me now that I will be shooting the upcoming De Van gig at Royal Night in Wasa! Awesome news yes! This is a rather new metal act from Sweden, Stockholm fronted by the very cool rocker dude-man called Eric De Van! Check them out on the following clicker…

The show will be held on the 16th of July. I’m just getting familiar with the band, and yes, I like it very much! Hopefully the “like it very much”-factor is the golden key to getting some awesome frames of these guys. They have recently released their first album called Planet Botox, but I still don’t possess it. And hey, if you wanna get to know these boys right now, check out their latest video…

Yes, the video to Fredrik Furu’s next single “Det Går Över” is about 94% done, and what’s even better news is that the song is finally mixed and ready! Well, not quite, it hasn’t yet been mastered.. Jimmy Westerlund has done an awesome job with producing this song.. Pauline and Furu sound great together! Any day now folks – looking good! Soon oh soon.

I still don’t know the exact date for the video premier, but as soon as we get our shit together I’ll hit you with a show date!

Well ok, that’s that! Jus’ felt like sharing some pics from today’s studio sessions – no more, no less!

Well, number one. The upcoming Fredrik Furu video looks really good and we are about to go into the color correcting department any day now. This project has by far been the biggest music video establishment I’ve directed, so I really hope that you viewers out there will enjoy the result, should be up n’ running on the Tube in a bit.

I went to the Ramedus office today for some chitty chatty future planning with the great Rasmus Tåg. We’ve got some cool things and projects going on, more on those later. So that’s that. Yes, the upcoming Walkalone music video project witch I’m doing with Ramedus will be grand..! We went through some ideas and “thinkings” today, gonna attempt to create some pretty fancy and flashy stuff for the Walkalone video, and we are gonna shoot it with a RED camera, so it will be all showy and lovely and all of the other positive adjectives you can think of…

There are a lot of photo projects, video projects, editing projects and even projects-projects in the heat right now, so stuff will for sure occur all the time on this exclusive media site, and hey, I really enjoy telling you all about these things, so keep on keepin’ on right? Yes.

At the moment I’m in Helsinki working with the upcoming reality show called “Farsor”. The thing is gonna air on YLE/FST5 in November. I’m currently doin’ casting interviews all around Finland. So, tomorrow I’ll head for Parainen, Korppoo and Suomen Turku.. So if you’re out there – come n’ have an Ice cream with Tage no?

The tomorrow-trip will be quite long filled with many many “car hours”, so I kindly asked my good man Mike G-Force of Shear and Ponies to Kill to lend my a CD that’ll work for many hours driving. A record that will please my ears for a hella lotta hours. He gave me the Angra album called “Temple of Shadows”. He said that the album had been his mental and physical guide for decades, and he really believed that it would work as my fellow musical company along the roads of Finland – hope he is right.. I’ve never listened to Angra, so we’ll se what becomes of my listening experince!
