A few months ago, together with director Sonja Österberg, me and Anders Lönnfeldt shot and edited a music video for BUU-klubben – all with a nice hand from RAY and Folkhälsan.

And now, yes now the time has come for the premiere of this video starring Fifi, Monstret Ole and a bunch of happy dancers. The premiere is goin’ down in the BUU-klubben show next Monday on the 6th of February between 18.00 and 18.30 on YLE/Festkanalen.

The video called “Säg Hej o Le” will also be available for your eyes on the BUU-klubben website shortly after the TV-premiere. While we are waiting, here is a making-of-the-video shot.

Heads up folks. The helsinki-based Shear is releasing their debut album, Breaking the Stillness, in a few weeks from now. However, the disc will be released in Japan on the 22nd of February, and us Finns will have to wait until the end of March. Very much like the release of Nokia’s Lumia. That’s just the way it goes ok.

Well a few months ago we shot a commercial spot for Kristinestad with Rasmus Tåg for the international project called CittaSlow.

CittaSlow is a movement that started in Italy back in the 90′s, a network between smaller idyllic cities around the world so to say. The project has a series of goals and aims involving cultural diversity, protecting the environment and the quality of life in cities with a population under 50 000.

Kristinestad has been accepted to the CittaSlow group, and that’s why they asked us for a small film about the city showing you guys all of it’s fine qualities.

Check out the final spot if you please, shot entirely in the lovely town of Kristinestad.

The director is a 21-year old MCR fan from New York, what?

Well, it is said that Gerard Way, as he was scrolling youtube in search of old band clips, stumbled upon one of Emily’s MCR fanvideos, liked it, and then let her direct the new MCR video, since the new one was goin’ to be a live video filled with old cuts from their career.

Nothing particularly awesome about the video, but agree with me on this one, Gerard Way is the coolest man alive.

Just over a night, it seems as though Finland got her very own superstar, man oh man. This kid is something alright.

The dude is like 13 years old and have already collected over 1 million views on his first video in just a few days. People seem to hate him, and love him. Our very own Robin Packalen, our very own Justin Bieber.
