Hey babe! So yes? What.. I have finally witnessed Eddie Izzard on stage, and so yes? He actually repeatedly several many fucking times said “so, yes?”. And well, my smile was as broad as the broadway, sorry for that, it was an amazingly crappy and cheesy line. I’m terribly sorry. Go on?

Today I’m here to talk to you about Coredust. A band from Helsinki that gives the world some seriously heavy tunes, and by saying heavy, I don’t really mean heavy metal, more of the super heavy gigantic harsh rock type of music that is found nowhere, except for in the tunes of Coredust, well almost. I really don’t know how to put a label on the music, something between thrashcore, grindcore, hard rock and growling yourself clean? Something like that. Try it for yourself on their myspace (www.myspace.com/coredust) and if you are a “heavy police” you’ll immediately say, well this is that and this kind of music, well sorry, but I didn’t know.. One thing is for sure. They rocked my socks off!

And the shots of course. I took the promos this Tuesday evening, and when I showed up at their base camp I thought that we’d have at least 2-3 hours to take some nice shots, but no, one thing led to another, as they most often do, and suddenly I only had about 25mins to take the shots. But I’m still happy about the results, but I’ll let the band be the judge of that, since I’m only a man, and now a fan.. See what I did there? I played with myself.. No wait, I did a.. A fuck it. And still, my backspace is fucked up so I can’t erase it. I’ll just post another one instead.

What more folks? Well yes. After listening to their songs before I headed to the shoot I somewhat felt a bit afraid of these boys. Well, naturally, big men in black and white who scream their lungs out.. But when I reached the shoot and saw these boys, the feeling turned to joy. They were probably one of the most sympathetic pleasant dudes I met this week. Awesome guys and sure a bunch humorous ones. I love Finland . And when that’s said.. haha.. What else am I going to say? I’ll shut the Jesus up and post a third promo shot..

And I also hear you asking (from afar) why the shots are in black and white, well, the band wanted it that way. And as Brian, Kevin, Nick and OJ (or was that someone else, was his name really OJ?) said. I want it band way..? What the fuck am I on about. An awful BSB-reference gone wrong. But hey, remember my backspace? I should pay attenetion to Pearl Jam‘s (PJ) new shit, is that called Backspacer or what? Jeez. And yes, me and the boys are already in the planning stage of a music video for the band! And that is awesome news. We’re gonna make a somewhat different type of video for Coredust. But more of that in like a month or so..

And I think this is very much it for today, or as Stieg Larsson would have said – “Flickan som lekte med sig själv”.. Ah, Jeez, you just can’t get enough of those ones, or is it the Tage who is, well, a mumbo-jumbo ass. Perhaps.
