So!
Well, we have pretty much canned the shootings of our upcoming Swallow the Sun video to their next single “Cathedral Walls” – awesome!
The first day of shooting was spent with the STS-guys at the studio and the second day was held “way out” in the Helsinkian archipelago at Suomenlinna with some really talented performers, expect coolness – luckily we picked the stormiest day of all time to shoot outside, god. I was soaked, wet and cold when the day was over. But hey, I was and is very happy with both of our Swallow the Sun days.
And here you go – some selected “making of the video” shots!
( The making of Swallow the Sun “Cathedral Walls” – All shots by Niklas Laurin )
I believe the finished piece will hit the web in January 2012, and not to forget, the bands fifth record “Emerald forest and the Blackbird” will be available in stores on February 1st of 2012 – keep a lookout!
Wish us luck with the editing of this one, for now, stay tuned for updates.

If that stormy day was Sunday, I can confirm that it was horrible.
Good that you had a nice time and I’m now waiting for January!

Yes, yes it was on Storm-Sunday we shot the video at Suomenlinna – the weather, well the weather was quite horrible when the evening came. Christ.
Expect epic in January, but first we’re gonna premiere the upcoming Bob Malmström video at Lepakkomies in Kallio, Helsinki next Wednesday on the 7th of December!
A Bob Malmström show plus the video premiere – you don’t wanna miss that.

I need the time and I’ll see what I can do!

I believe the premiere will take place around 22.00 or 23.00 perhaps. Can’t say for sure. I’ll post it on either facebook, twitter or my site as soon as I get the facts right!
