Right.

Where to begin my dear eyes. Well. Tomorrow, as in today, we will begin the shooting of the new Fredrik Furu music video featuring Pauline Kamusewu and Jimmy Westerlund for the Furu’s next single called “Det går över” (Roughly translated – The Rocket scientist and his mad friend Esteban from Jerusalem).

Although I named this show (1/3) we haven’t shot anything just yet. Today was all about pre-producing and getting that final finger up the plan ass.

It all started with a lunch meeting at Strampen in Waasa where we got our shit together, you know, discussing shots, angles (not angels), sequences and everything else camera.

Then it was time for a meeting with the Make up artist Sara Dahlback and the wardrobe woman Pamela Lindqvist. After some hours of fitting canvas we finally agreed on what’s what in the costume and make up department. Just look at the Fredrik how happy that made the man!

Tomorrow Pauline Kamusewu will arrive at the Vasa Airport coming all the way from Malmö, so I’ll finally get to meet her, some hours before the video shoot… Excited. Jimmy Westerlund will arrive on Friday, coming all the way from Los Angeles, so it’s quite the gathering that has been arranged in the big city of Waasa – better make a cool video Tage. Well yes, I’ll do my best and more..!

We went location scouting some more today with Fredrik Furu, checking out some hotel suits, hence the first picture. And yes, it looked awesome and I really believe that this video is gonna be great.

I’ve written about 5 versions of our script now, and I’m beginning to believe in it, strongly. Horses, helicopters, stars, hotels, woods and a touch of Rohan, what can possibly go wrong? Nothing.

And then, all of the sudden the great Ramedus showed up from Helsinki, the cinematographer for the video, as always. We dined and discussed stuff over at Amarillo in the city center of Waasa. He had a burger, I had a Schweppes Ginger Ale, I like to be special. I’m drinking grogivesi.

Anywho, wish us your luck tomorrow, the shoot starts sometime in the evening. But before that there are loads of things going down. A trip to Nyykaabi, a trip to Solf, a trip in my face and a trip to whatever, whole lotta trippin’. No pun intended.
