So Yes?

Yesterday was troubadour day. I went with some friends to the grim nightlife in Waasa, and this was a Sunday morning, actually.. But that’s life huh, you gotta give to recieve, whatever that means. We went to the Sky Bar to watch a very special gig featuring Fredrik Furu, Jimmy Westerlund and Olli Rantala.

And of course, I brought my Mark Tage with me, and snapped some golden memories, this is the only blog paste in the world where you will be able to see some rare shots from this gig – now you think of that for a while cause I’m heading for the crapper. (Tage takes a poopo). And I’m back, let’s look at some shots from yesterday shall we.

And bare this in mind, these guys are very talented.. Fredrik is a singer-songwriter known from everywhere, Jimmy is a music producer/music everything working in L.A with the finest dudes in the industry, and Olli is an ass-kicking wall-banging guitar master.. So It was quite a gig they held.

The gig was all about covering songs and having a major fun time, they had a nice laugh between, and during, the songs while the audience were very pleased with the show, at least I was, I can’t speak for everyone, well, sure I can.. But I’ll leave that for later when I need it..

Fredrik Furu has recently released his first solo album called “Hollywoodhjärtan”, it’s a great record, produced by Jimmy, for cold winter nights with three glasses of wine, and it even fits for a Summer-y day among cars and beaches (you thought it said bitches). So it’s a multitasking album found in several stores, at least in Finland. Support the dude!

And hey, between songs they asked the audience if they wanted to hear some special song – and of course the mighty Tage got to put in a wish, and they played it. My granted wish was Kent’s Kärleken Väntar – an awesome tune! So the night ended, at least for me, in the middle of their second set, had to sleep, the bed bugs were calling like crazy, and hey, I’m only a man.

Too bad you couldn’t witness this gig, it was one for the books – in many ways. And the last shot for today will be a picture of my music video partners Anders and Rasmus. Just look at these fuckers, and I’ll leave it there…
